Red light (LED) therapy uses red and infrared light to support skin regeneration – gentle, warming and with no downtime, at Park Medical in Vienna.
In LED red light therapy the skin is exposed to light of specific wavelengths. Red and near-infrared light penetrates the upper skin layers and stimulates cell activity. Unlike a laser, it does not injure the skin – the treatment is low-irritation and pleasantly warm.
After cleansing, you take a seat under the LED panel and wear eye protection. The exposure takes about 10 to 20 minutes depending on the area, which you spend lying comfortably.
You can continue your day immediately. For a visible result a series of several sessions is recommended; individual applications mainly have a calming and supporting effect.
As a gentle, supportive treatment for dull, stressed or redness-prone skin, and alongside other procedures. With certain light sensitivities or medications we clarify suitability in advance.
We are happy to advise you personally and without obligation.
